I hate to say but if it isn't the day following the street show I will have to back out as I have to go back to work. I plan to be home June 6th (on power tour) thru Sunday June 14. Back to work on the 15th til July 1st.

At this point I believe this event will be the day after the Street Show, June 14th, Sunday.

OK, that's cool. I just got a little vibe of uncertainty from this post. ^

Dyno day is cancelled.

I just got off the phone with Andy at Dyno Tune and he said that he just can't commit to this event due to all of the risk factors involved, ie: 1200 miles driving to get here, possibility of rain, spending 9 days traveling/dyno runs before hand. There's a large risk of breaking equipment after running that hard for that long so he decided not to do it.

Nobody has paid any money so we will just consider this an event that got away.

That blows.

Anybody up for a trip to Warroad? I need to spin up two cars at least. I at least need one person to drive one car as it's a real pain in the ass two drive two cars at once.

Possibly the week preceding the car show. June 10th perhaps?

I'm down. If you need me to drive a car I'm available otherwise I wouldn't mind finding out what the civic puts down.

Plenty of room for both of you guys if you want cuz the E55 is one of the cars going. I would say plan on it as I will be home that week for sure.

Me as well I am very bummed out about the dyno day not working for us, but this would be cool as well and after the carb gets rebuilt and a few other things get put on the chevelle I would like to see what it puts down this time.

One of the second year students put my Saturn up on the Dyno and I must say I am very pleased with the results.  I pulled a 14.7 second  1/4 mile at 87 mph with a 60 foot at 2.4 seconds and put out 103 HP with 99 ftlbs of torque.   Now I got a bast to build off of.

try it on the street you should give gene a good run with a 14.7 quarter he will probally still win but it should be close.

I must admit I didn't believe it at first so we tried it again and the second time was a 14.85 so I dont know what to say about that.  As for hitting the streets, definately we have to do it.  I hope to have it out sometime to see what it does in a real race!
